I don't know that Cuban would spend any more than they have been spending up until the last couple years. The Dodgers usually have one of the highest payrolls, they just don't get much in return when they spend like on Jason Schmidt or Andruw Jones.

That may be so but I don't think Cuban would run their payroll into Yankee/Red Sox territory. If Cuban doesn't get the team (and I'm pretty sure he won't) than some other billionaire will.
