See, I don't get this. If a driver/team is good enough to run away with it, more power to them. Greatness and domination should not be penalized.Wouldn't surprise me if he does. I agree with doing something to prevent run aways for the championship. I don't really like the chase though. I do not know how to do it otherwise.
Go Tony Stewart...interested to see how he does being an owner this year
Of course. The only question that needs to be asked is who will actually accumulate the most points through the whole season rather than just the last 10 races.

I really thought that Jimmie had signed out for last year once the season got going. He had a different attitude. He was cocky and way too confident for me. But he won another championship! So what about this year can he do 4 in a row?
I am not sold on JJ as an individual. I don't believe he is one of the best tallents as a driver. Having said that de is not far off. Chad Knaus is definately the best crew chief in the business and is the glue to the 48 team. He knows exactly what JJ and the 48 team needs and as long as he is on JJ's pit box he will be a contender.
I think JJ is one of the smartest and most consistent drivers in the sport. He has that attitude though that he wants to win when he can. What he done towards the end of the year at that one race - maybe Charlotte or Atlanta - that Edwards won really showed me he can wheel the car when he needs to. He restarted near the rear of of the lead lap cars with just a few laps to go and came all the way up to second behind Edwards. When they interviewed Edwards in victory lane they asked him what he thought about Johnson's run to the front and he said what do you mean and the pit reporter said he came in second. Edwards just shook his head and said MAN he's good.
Saying all of that I realistically right now give 5 drivers a chance to win the Cup next season IMO:
Johnson, Edwards, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, and Kevin Harvick. I think the winner will be one of those 5 guys.
