.... besides me get the feeling when watchin Auburn fans that the quasi-celebratory "woo hoo" is not all that heartfelt? That they know what's coming?

Somewhat. I have a few cousins who go to AU and they are still looking at the situation through the alternate reality goggles that are issued to them upon admission.

not so much. more like it's still at the back of their minds.

Maybe some combination of that and the fact that the #2 team in the country is having problems putting away 5-5 georgia is unnerving them a bit though (probably more the latter though)

I just find it funny that Cam acts like he is Jesus to the Auburn faithful. On a whole new level than Tebow did imo

This is all a fantasy for them, I'm afraid.

Yup. Even Gene's celebrations seemed overdone and staged.

Yes I unignored you and all is forgiven. I still think your an a** though. That is not uncommon.

im with him tho. u say that but what are you basing on other than u just dont like him/auburn?

I've seen plenty of cam newton to make that statement. The guy is the biggest "look at me" player. When one of his teammates does something good, he doesn't celebrate with them, he is most of the time celebrating to the crowd by himself. At least that is what I notice more often than not.

Are we going to see a post tomorrow by lawgator proclaiming Auburn fans as the most heart felt in the SEC? That seems to be lawgator's M.O.

Put it this way. If you knew you were gonna die tomorrow and there was nothing you could do about it, what would you do today? You would party like crazy and have as much fun as you could before your death.

This is what's going on down on the Plains.

I know a couple of people that are students there and they pretty much have adopted the attitude of their big brothers at Tuscaloser. They are the unjustly accused victims. One even said that the FBI involvement was overboard and stupid. I think that they are dealing with some serious denial, but down deep, they realize this train they are riding on is quickly running out of tracks. They are enjoying this much like a prisoner enjoys his last meal... They know they will never eat again.

You are at a whole new level of supression when you call an FBI investigation "overboard".....
