Does anyone know if Coach Martin's practices are open to the public?

I attended over 30+ of Coach Pearl's practices and it was really awesome to get to see the behind the scenes of how the teams were prepared. I saw more focus and more organization on the Elite 8 team than any we ever had, but the one open practice I saw from Coach Martin last year (before the season began) gave me hope that we would be a fundamentally solid team.

If anyone has any info regarding this, it would be highly appreciated. :hi:

Just some thoughts about what I saw in the difference in practices:

Coach Pearl's practices were pretty relaxed, but he would get highly animated at times. We ran more offensive drills than defensive, except there was a lot of work on the different presses we would implement. Lot's of downtime between drills, which led to lack of focus coming into the next drill.

Coach Martin's practice was equally relaxed, but way more organized. He would jump in from time to time to point out opporotunities, but for the most part would observe and let his assistants jump in. His approach reminded me a lot of how Coach Summitt ran her practices. CCM's practices were equal on defense and offense, but way more time was spent towards fundamental drills before they broke into scrimmaging.

I have to admit, the night I heard Martin's name announce on ESPN, I compared him to Buzz.
Those of you who said, "Give the man a chance" were right. Now, I just hope we can keep him long term. Hope he doesn't jump to a Big 10 program. Of course, he could have already gone to Illinois during this off season.
Just waiting for him to say that he "Loves U.T." If not, then this is just another school to him and he may leave if given a good prospect.

Alot of him staying here is compensation. If he gets it rolling then the only sure way to keep him from the Big10 is pay the man.
