Does anyone know why the line changed?

Does anyone know why the point spread when from -2 to +2?

Does anyone know why the money shifted to Cal last week to the point of changing the spread this drastically?

I don't think the gambling shifted to Cal, but around 65-70% of vegas were betting on Cal. Anytime that happens the lines shift to the advantage of the book. Interestingly enough 90% bet on South Carolina to cover Thursday, and around 85% bet on Notre Dame.

also consider the only outlet to college football the general public had was ESPN, they were referring to the game as the "Cal game" several times....I think alot of money went toward Cal because of this and shifted the line dramatically over the four days prior to the game.
