Nebraska option teams? I used to love to watch the Cornhuskers and all the option plays they pulled. They had some very creative plays you never see anymore. I truly miss that era of Nebraska.

No. I saw enough of them in the 98 Orange Bowl and the 2000 Fiesta Bowl to last me a lifetime.

They were fun to watch, when they weren't rolling over UT, of course.

You've still got that funky option stuff that West Virginia runs that is fun to watch, too.

They were always fun to watch before the Callahan era. Now I look at Nebraska in a completely different way with the west coast offense.

I agree. I used to look at Nebraska as one of the premier programs in the country, and now I look at Nebraska and think of them as one of the blah middle of the road teams from a BCS conference. As for the offense that West Virginia runs, it can't touch the Nebraska offense of the mid 90's.
