Does anyone remember the start of the season?

What was the generally accepted minimum number of wins DD needed to keep his job? I'm pretty sure 6 was not it, though.

If I had to guess, the minimum was something like 7-5 with a bowl win.

7-5, maybe 8-4 was realistic. Some though 10 wins. The super negative Debbie downer Negavols said 6 wins!!! I spent a lot of time arguing with them..........................

I'm guessing Doolites will say 5 wins will be enough.

6 wins would be okay if we beat somebody relevant in there

just 1 relevant win and people would have been annoyed but not suicidal

7 wins was my minimum to keep from being fired. We have gone past that point.

Who would have expected such a precipitous fall after that first game?

I'm pretty sure any sane person said 8 with a win over , UF, UGA, or South Carolina. DOn't know who said 6 wins would be enough to keep his job. Maybe some predicted 6 wins. But we're not getting 6 wins anyways.
