I honestly don't know a thing about his contract. Could someone tell me what is so bad about it?

i cant recall details, but its a long deal for huge money, and he had beenin an obvious decline in the few years leading up to free agency.

7 years for 126 mil with a team option for an extra year at 18 mil for that year.

Plus the fact that he's barely the 5th start for San Fran at this point and is completely awful.

Now that Mike Hampton and Carl Pavano's contracts are off the books, Zito may be the new leader. Although I'd argue that David Beckham's deal dwarfs all of them for crapitude.

Yea, the Galaxy didn't exactly turn into worldbeaters. Which is a shame, considering, even before Beckham was on the team, the Galaxy were the most talented team in MLS.

Of course, as a midfielder, even in MLS, you're not going to score the 5 goals a game that most thought he would.

If I've heard correctly, he's going to be transferred to AC Milan. Same team as my fav. soccer player, Ronaldinho.

He's 'on loan' to Milan right now. Has been for a while.
