Well, its not a fair question, really. In reality, every team in the country is capable of being a top 25 team. They may have to play way over their head but its theoretically possible. Its baseball and anything can happen. Having said that, it is highly unlikely that UGA, AU, and Mizzou have what it takes to get to a top 25 spot. I think everyone else has the pieces, including us. Auburn's coach has already guaranteed Auburn's presence in Omaha this year, so I guess he clearly knows something I don't. But they aren't that good - not even close.
In my opinion, at this point, we look to be a clear step ahead of those 3 teams, and a not so clear step ahead of UF, UA, TAMU, and MSU. Its definitely possible that 11 SEC teams be ranked at some point during the season, but the nature of everyone playing each other makes it impossible for a team unable to make Hoover to be ranked at the end of the season. No poll would rank more than 8-9 SEC teams at one time. Unless we get destroyed by the injury bug, I do not see any way we don't wind up in Hoover this year. And I think we should be sniffing a regional as well.
