Does Floridas Offense have any similarities to Cals????

One week from today, they will definitely have a similarity. They will have been similarily dismantled by UT.

idk... I expected Cal to employ more spread, and they used I and offset I a ton. If Florida does the same thing, then it would be similar except that Chris Leak is a better QB than either of Cal's.

Florida will be less likely to miss receivers, and their receivers will be less likely to drop compared to Cal.

On the other hand, Florida's RBs don't have the potential that Cal's did.

Having Harrel out is going to hurt. I would expect Meyer to test us there.

no but just have faith that MEACH is just that good, whether he is play freshman or all-american....even swain or rogers for that matter

I think Chavis uses the prowler defense again. It worked well last year. I just suspect Meyer has added some plays for that defense. Will be interesting.

The interesting things I find about Cal are on D. We dominated them and talked about how PAC teams don't play D, blah blah... they took care of a Big11 team with a senior QB pretty well.

Overall, our season starts Saturday. I don't think you can compare Florida with Cal or AF. They are Florida and they always come to play. We will have to be at the top of our game to beat them. I can't remember the last year this was not true playing the Gators.
