...put popcorn butter on his hands before every game? He simply cannot hold on to a ball when it is passed to him or comes to him off a loose ball situation. It happened in multiple, even back to back, possessions tonight and has been a recurring issue in games this season. He could have scored in some of those situations!

Squeeze the ball, Kenny!

Uh, Stokes led the team in turnovers.
Lost it every time he touched.
Was Kenny sharing?

Stokes was owned all game.

Hall tossed the brick to finish things, because GT wanted him to have the ball at the end.

GU played the best zone I have seen.

I'm not convinced Kenny can bend at the knees. If a ball comes his way at or below knee level, watch out cheerleaders. Game of kickball bout to break out.

Kenny needs to eat more Cheetos before the game. That orange residue left on your fingers is better than stick-em.

I am usually positive but our posts are extremely weak with the ball. And our offensive coaching is very bad. Cuonzo is starting to remind me of mike brown.

I remember some poster saying he didn't see Stokes going pro, didn't think he'd get a guaranteed first round grade.

Any idea who that guy was, I don't recall?

No offense BTO, but you seem starved for positive reinforcement. Anytime you make a prediction, you feel compelled to remind everyone about it in hopes of what exactly? Just let your opinion speak for itself.

He can't respond. He's thrown out his shoulder from patting himself on the back so much.

I think that poster has taken advantage of Maymon's absence and made a "bold prediction". What did you say exactly and when did you say it?

Maymon (1.0) and Stokes (1.0) together are 2.5. With Maymon not on the floor, Stokes is more like 0.75 due to real talent, youth, and double-teams. If the year had rolled out as planned, Stokes would have had a decent (not great) chance of going late in the 1st round (not a lottery pick - top 14 iirc) or more probably early in the 2nd. Now, unless things change monumentally for the Vols as a team, he'll be back next year.

Let's all turn on each other because the season isn't going like we hoped.
Going to need some excitement from the look of things.

Whatever. Yeah, I really "turned" on him. Our brotherhood is forever stained as a result. I have called BTO on stuff like this before. Its not the first time, and he's usually quick to admit when he's out of line. He may or may not agree with me this time, and that's fine. IMO, posts like that stink of self-promotion, and its unnecessary. Disagree if you like.

Thought I did disagree.
Panties too tight?

Simply disagreeing would have been fine. I do take a mild level of offense to you implying that I'm so shallow as to have made my comments based solely on this season's results and (I assume) perceived shortcomings. I would have said what I said whether we were 6-0 or 0-6. In this particular case, my comments and UT's success or failure are completely independent of each other.

I've always respected you as a poster. Please don't give me reason to do otherwise. It really isn't worth it when neither of us have an iron in the fire.

Ahhh, BTO is good people. He's cruising right now in Mexico, or he'd have owned it.

I'm back now damn it.

I know you mean well, btw you had a chance to check out Landry at all?

The post wasn't looking to point out I was right...just more or less pointing out to a few unnamed posters they were wrong.

It was a big topic pre season about stokes and would he go pro, and would he be lottery or first round lock. I was one of very few who said I saw him returning next year...I don't see him earning a first round grade and so far he hasn't done enough to probably even warrant a 2nd round grade.

I'm starting to come around to that line of thinking with Stokes. He actually looks worse. Part of that is the absence of Maymon, but a 1st round pick makes his own offense. I'm leaning towards him being back unless there is major improvement.

Haven't gotten to see Landry yet. Hoping to see him over holidays or after the start of the year. Ill keep ya updated.

I'm not dismissing this year by any means, but the potential of next year has me excited. Looking very possible that stokes and Maymon are both here, plus bringing in Hubbs!!!
