Does our 2013 Schedule hinder our coach search?

If a head coach does not want to come here because his ego is too fragile to compete against the elite programs because he might lose.....then I don't think that given coach is SEC material and personally I don't want a coward as our next head coach.

Has nothing to do with it. I do not think the Tennessee job is a great as it once was. You got Cheek wanting a Ivy league school. That will hurt football players. I see some want Fulmer back. If that is the case we should of kept Dooley. And before Hart fired Dooley he didn't call anyone to see if they were interested in the UT job. If you were going to fire a coach wouldn't you ask around and see who is interested. This is a joke what Hart has turned this coach search into.

Part of the problem the UT administration wants a GPA higher than the NCAA minimum required for admission.
If that's the case, UT might as well move to the ivy league. You can not be compete in this conference with a Rhodes Scholar roster. :no: :ermm:

You are correct, you can't compete against other competition when you have Rhode Scholars.

Just ask Stanford how it is working out for them.

Also, Vandy will never make it to a bowl with Rhode Scholars. Just ask them.

I don't get what people are seeing when they say that. We play Austin Peay, Western frigging Kentucky, and SOUTH Alabama next year. Add in should-be-layups with Kentucky and Vandy (or are we saying they've caught us now??) and that is 5 wins in the bank. C'mon, we've gotta be able to win one game against equal/better team to get bowl eligible.

This is stupid and not the case at all. What coach wouldn't want to throw down against Saban, Miles, Muschamp, Richt, and the rest of them?

Kiffin and Dooley did...
