I'm not sure we'd be interested in a recruit where listening to Peyton lecture about the communications business and maybe rubbing elbows with him actually moves the needle that much for recruiting.Does Peyton being on staff provide........ any greater LEGAL access to assist in recruiting efforts? It obviously cements his VFL status in the public eye. Sure would like to have you in my class....etc.

Then we have failed them as a society. It is our jobs to teach them about our history. Everything from US, World, CFB, NFL, Baseball, etc. I knew who Johnny Unitas was. He played decades before I was born. I would still love to meet him some day, even if it's in the afterlife. What an incredible athlete. The problem is... Pretty soon, we'll be recruiting kids that don't even know who his is or that he even played at UT!
Pretty sure its just a title and not a working positionIirc, Peyton has a mansion in Colorado. Why is he always hanging around UT especially with all his other business/media interests? I assume he is very busy and his family is back in Colo. Is this Professor status honorary or will he actually teach? Will it be a remotely taught class?

I guess if Peyton is now the Professor, he has retired from being the Sherriff.
Johnny U passed in 2002, so in the afterlife it will have to be.Then we have failed them as a society. It is our jobs to teach them about our history.
