Does Stokes Help Recruiting ?

Yes. In the same way that Tobais was monumental in helping Stokes to come to Tennessee. It's a snowball effect...

We could use another Blue Chipper on the floor.

Yes, Yes, and Yes! Martin can go to a recruits livng room and say " Your roll on the team will be............
and by the way J. Stokes will be there to rebound and
receive passes from you"
We need a good point guard to be Goldens back up and give him a breather. Once Golden leaves the game, there is a big drop off in talent. The oposing team can usually make a run, when Golden is not in the game.

Of course. Especially if Stokes is successful in the NBA.

Enticing 5*'s can never hurt. Especially if as early as bball recruiting starts, the HS recruits can watch the development & utilization of the player.

It was amazing how the uconn guards hit 3s at the end to make it close. Hope with Stokes we can attract that caliber of guards.

It won't hurt that's for sure. His ties to Memphis could also provide a way into the city as well. Biggest effect may be when he goes pro, well have cj Tobias jarnell and maybe golden shortly after that all in the league that I huge on recruits.

It absolutely helps. Cuonzo did an interview on sports 180 this last week and said in response to this same question that he'd received calls from a few "big time" players asking about UT after Stokes signed with us. Of course he couldn't mention any names, but there you go...straight from the horse's mouth.

Yea had 6 assists 2 turnovers and 3 steals. He should be benched.

I think Golden is a wildcard on whether he will play in the NBA. If he develops in the next 2 years and continues to improve then yes he could play in the league. And I disagree he needs to be moved to the 2 spot. Yes he might thrive but I think if he wants to be in the NBA its at the PG position. And I like the idea of having a scoring PG. Magic and Isiah were great scoring PGs as is Steve Nash. Now I wouldn't put Golden in that company by any stretch but I don't know if he needs to move to the 2. He just needs to continue to develop. CCM said he had his best game running the point yesterday against UCONN>
