So the SEC East is getting alot of grief from the media and even some fans here for being the worst division in football. While Washington has been getting alot of hype as a playoff team. Two positions I simply don't understand. The SEC East for as bad as it has been against the SEC West has some good out of conference wins. Tennessee and Georgia both have wins over the two teams currently leading the ACC Coastal (Virginia Tech and North Carolina). Compare that to the Pac-12 where there isn't a single quality win out of conference.
Just look at a team like Washington State that everyone is in love with right now because they are dominating the Pac-12 schedule. They lost two games to start the season against out of conference teams (including an embarrassing loss in week 1 to an FCS team). The Pac-12 leaders Washington have famously played the worst out of conference schedule in the country. In fact, the best showing all year by a Pac-12 team in an out of conference game might be Colorado only losing by 17 when they traveled to Ann Arbor to play Michigan.
The Pac-12 has simply be TERRIBLE this year. Even moreso than the SEC East. And I expect once bowl season rolls around, this fact will be exposed.
