Assuming Ole Miss wins this game and Auburn beats Bama. Does the SEC get shut out of the playoffs?

Oregon, FSU, TCU Ohio State, Baylor... Pretty much any team from a major conference with one or less losses. That's assuming the teams listed above take care of business and don't lose.

Yes, and I would be OK with that. Only thing would be what does that do with were we end up going bowling with bama and MS drop down into the pool.

Deep down, I believe 3-4 SEC teams could win the playoff if given the opportunity but I couldn't justify putting a 2 loss team in over any 1 loss conference champs.

If UO goes down to Zona next week as they already have this year and Wisky beats OSU which are both possible then I could see Bama sneaking back in if they beat Mizzou.

Holy cow if Auburn finishes this out and beats bama that gives us auburn-Mizzou. And if Mizzou pulls it off as conf champ there is absolutely no way SEC puts a team in. Hell even if Auburn wins SEC champ we still prob won't get a team in

If Auburn can pull this off, and that is a huge if, and Oregon, OSU, and FSU all win their conference championship games, then yes.

This game is still very much up in the air. The refs have a tendancy to get flag happy any time Alabama gets in trouble.

Bama has clinched the West. Auburn has 3 losses.

State needed to win and Bama lose to get in. I agree, if Bama loses the only way they get in is if the other 1 loss teams lose conference title games.

More like Bama is giving up the entire field except for the red zone.

They're stiffening up when they need to.

Yeah after the MS St loss earlier bama could lose it and still make Atl. However looking at the game right now I dont foresee that being an issue ... dammit
