Does winning a NC help in recruiting?

does winning a national championship help in recruiting or do recruits just care about the NFL. if you have read meat market CEO calls jerrell powe right before USC played Oklahoma for the NC and said he was about to win a NC and was thinking of him. this makes me think that winning a NC helps in recruiting. your thoughts

lol, nope. No high school kids want to win a national championship as a team while in college, their only concern is getting their butt to the NFL. Ingram was happier with his Heisman trophy as well, he didnt care at all about winning last night since he already got his... (Sarcasm)

if I see one more "does _____ help/hurt recruiting" I swear Im gonna cut off the heads of every single oragami crane I have made this week.

recruits choose their school for many different reasons....winning a NC is one of them. They typically want to play for the best if they are the best.

no i know it doesnt hurt. im not stupid but is it a huge advantage? ive argued with my roomate who is a florida fan and doesnt keep up with recruiting about this. he says 17 and 18 year old kids dont care about winning a nation title and it is only a plus. basically just give me some ammo. help a guy out ya know

Yes it goes a long way. A coach can preach his system to a recruit until he is blue in the face but seeing him hoist that trophy is concrete evidence that his sytem works. Any person who follows recruiting knows that this is a valid question and since we have so much recent experience with national championships, it is clear most posters know exactly how to handle that kind of recruiting. Way to help the kid guys.
