First, no player is in trouble.

This is about the fan base being divided and beating each other down in cyberspace. It seems obvious this will continue until next season. Once fans see what CBJ puts on the field maybe they will unite in support. My hope is that he can hire some great young coaches and have a solid recruiting class before signing day.

Please give him a chance and take it easy on each other. It is bad enough that we are the butt of the rest of the conference's jokes and even those outside the SEC right now.

It would be great to pull together and support the new staff and Hart. I personally think he did the best he could given the situation. If the guy can really coach, he will be a vast improvement. Dools was over his head.

Merry Christmas and welcome to out new coach!

Go Vols!

John Adams school of journalism in your analogy and thread title IMO. You can do better than that bro. I look at it like the muschamp hire myself. I was underwhelmed by their hire but he's proven to be a pretty good coach. It all starts with recruiting and d in the sec

I agree. Give the man a chance. As of right now he's a far better coach than Dooley ever was ( not saying much) and he seems to have the fire in him to succeed. I'm anxious to see what kind of animal we put out on the field come next season.

Mushchamp had a lot of believers, which is why we offered him the job in 2010. Him going 6-6 in year 1 is what raised the questions.

Not with me it didn't, it was the lack of head coaching experience.

So you are a poor judge of coaching talent. You should probably listen to the folks who called Dooley for what he was when we hired him.

Thanks for enlightening me then, I can come to you for advice on what to think of coaching hires in the future right? Where did you acquire such vast coaching acumen? And may I have some please?

Muschamp pretty good? I'd say he's great considering they have one loss despite good but not great talent. Dude can flat out coach.

I would agree with this 100%. Personally, I don't think this was a bad hire. I like Butch Jones alot better then Charlie Strong. Strong, Gundy, and Gruden all used UT to get more money at their current positions. Those are not Men.....None of them were brave enough to take on this challenge. Yet, a lot of Tennessee fans want to blame Hart, and belittle Coach Jones. Butch Jones will do well here. In fact, he will do so well, many will wonder why they questioned this hire from the start. Go Vols!!
