We've been fans of Dominos for years now but recently when ordering online or through their app they are not applying any applicable discounts and over charging people. I think they are knowingly doing this, the company and the individual stores.

I placed an order for a medium 2 topping pan pizza for carryout which I know should be $7.99. I tried both the app and ordering online to find out both places tried to charge me over $14 for the pizza and never lowered the price. I called the store to place the same order and it was $7.99. This was ordered along with another pizza.

I wondered if anyone else would try and place an order online then call their local store and get the price for the same order and see what the difference is?

If so this is a scam by the company and should be called out.

Did you apply the coupon? Works fine for me.

If I had only ordered that one pizza I could have but we got 2 pizzas. You can only use one coupon online. When I called the store to place the same order it was $20 cheaper. I'll take a pic of the receipt.

Most food apps only allow you to use one coupon per order. Seems standard. You can get multiple $7.99 carryout 2 top mediums, but can't use a coupon for that and a different coupon for another. If the store allows it, great. Alternately, just place 2 orders on the app. Wife and I will often both put an order in so we can use different coupons at places. Pick em up at the same time.

That receipt...they just gave you the second pizza for a quarter. Nice. I would probably deal with them in store if they offer to do that every time.

Interesting idea, but it would definitely only apply to carry out. The only other issue I see with putting in two separate orders for carryout is they may not come out at the same time.

Yes. No matter how hard I tried I could have never gotten that discount placing that one order online.
