We were awakened to fact that our Vols are CHAMPIONS in the toughest league in the NCAA. The SEC. I know what happened afterwards sucked but let’s let it motivate us and take us to new heights. Our young men accomplished something that we haven’t seen in over 40 years for some of us and some that have never seen. Let’s get behind this team and give them exactly what they’ve given us. Their all. Let’s make a run that we’ll all remember for the rest of our lives. It’s us against the world and we got this.

I haven’t posted in 4 years, but I still consistently lurked this place. Love our fanbase. Who cares what the NCAA pricks think? I hope getting a #3 seed only further motivates this squad. Let’s see how far we can go!

Agree but we can still complain/vent about it on here. Honestly, the #3 seed isn't that bad of a spot. We have an easy road to the Sweet 16. I do think Arizona and Nova are tough draws compared to other brackets, however.

It’s complete BS…we beat Kentucky and Auburn together 3 out of 4 times yet they both got #2 seeds. Unbelievable, but not surprising. Reminds me of when they screwed us out of a #1 seed back when we got the #2 that year with Pearl.

Two seed or three seed, it doesn't really make a difference in the grand scheme of things. Just go out and take care of business and it will sort everything out on it's own.

I would rather the team go in with a chip on their shoulder about being a 3 seed than be content with a 2 seed from the start.

What was frustrating that year was that I could see an argument for being the #2 seed but we literally got the WORSE #2 seed in the tournament so effectively we were #8 when most people were arguing it was between #4 and #5 and I remember the reasoning was that they wanted to stick us in that bracket because it was closer to Knoxville giving us the best #3 seed to matchup with (Louisville) as well as a 30-win Butler team.
