Don Knotts passed today at 81 of pulmonary and resparatory complications....gnite Barney.

Hate to hear that. He was one of those guys that could make you laugh without ever saying a word.

I also loved seeing him and Tim Conway in The Apple Dumpling Gang not to mention wearing the awsome leisure suits on Three's Company. Here's five more bullets Barn. :(

If you think about it, he must have been pretty talented . . . We're still watching Three's Company 25 years later and the Andy Griffith Show 40+years later.

I hated to hear that he passed away. He was one of my all time favorites.

Andy Griffith Show was one of my fav's. They dont make shows like that anymore.

Not to mention the Dad from "A Christmas Story" (aka the 24 hour marathon on TNT every year) died today.

Darren McGaven....he also played the original Kolchak-The Night Stalker. Two great talents lost. A sad time.

My favorite episode was when Barney was singing in the choir and he didn't realize he was singing offkey and he was going around trying to find the culprit. Priceless :whistling:

I heard someone put it like this the other day.

How many tv series, that were shot 40 years ago in black and white are still shown on the air every day?

That show was in a class by itself.

My favorite show of all time and one of my heroes..I will definitely miss Barney but he will live on with each show they have on TVLand.
