This hire was the best possible move for BC. Donahue took a huge hit with seniors at Cornell, so this was a dream scenario for Steve.

His coaching abilities will be measured at BC, and I have confidence he will succeed.

I hate to see good coaches make career killing decisions. That's what Donahue is making.

Good hire for BC but that proram is a graveyard. With the Celtics, Bruins, Redsox, and Patriots there is little time for anything BC related much less basketball.

Boston College basketball is a dump, as well as a graveyard. Hopefully, Donahue can turn the tide. He is certainly in a win-win situation, Cornell practically lost their entire team, and with his name being hot, he took advantage of the situation. He now has the chance to prove himself outside of Ivy League basketball. Winning will prove difficult, especially when BC basketball is irrelevant.

Harvard rowing gets more attention than the entire BC athletic program in the Boston area. Ask Tom O'Brien who won 6 straight bowl games.
