He was reportedly telling friends over the recent holidays, when Rod Stewart was among guests for a lavish New Year's Eve party at his Palm Beach estate, that he will "definitely" make a White House run as a Republican.

He confided that he would make the announcement after The Apprentice finishes its current season in spring, according to Ronald Kessler, the well-respected chief reporter of the conservative political website Newsmax.

If this comes to fruition, will the house on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave be renamed the Trump House? Or will he fade away during the primaries?

You mean Trump, the guy who argued that the 2008 financial crisis was an Act Of God wants to be our President. No thanks.

maybe I missed it, but is Trump actually quoted as saying that?

No quote. Based on his actions. He filed a lawsuit against Deutsche Bank in an effort to avoid paying $40 million construction loan...in the lawsuit he sites the force majeure "Act of God" clause as a reason not to pay the loan.

Trump is famous for filing lawsuits especially against those who get in his way. He sued the city of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA for fraud and breach of civil rights for obstructing a luxury golf course development and demanded the city landscape the surrounding area to protect the neighbors. What a hoot.

actually, he invoked the force majeur clause, which includes acts of God

I don't take Trump very seriously either, but at least get your criticism of him correct. Otherwise you look like lawgator just throwing crap out there.
