Donald Trump to Miami: Hire Mike Leach!

I think this is a great idea. Mike Leach is a legitimate coach, I'm surprised he doesn't already have a job.

Miami wants to win championships. I'm not sure why they would hire a guy who hasn't proven capable in over a decade of coaching.

I dont think it's fair to judge leach 100% in how he'd do at the u. Lubbock va Miami. One is in quite probably the crappiest town that has a bcs program, the other is a premier talent hotbed.

He'd probably suck though.

Miami, hire him please.

I've said it before and now I'll repeat it...Leach needs to go to Vanderbilt...Vandy has sucked so bad for so long, they both have NOTHING to lose...Constantly being 2-10 is not setting the bar very high...It would give Leach a chance to jump into the SEC spotlight with very little risk involved on his part..If Leach can get Vandy to a winning record, he would become an INSTANT legend...If not, then the excuse" nobody can win at Vandy" will restrict judgement on his coaching ability and maybe FINALLY convince Vandy that they are not an SEC-caliber football program, and won't be without a MAJOR overhaul of everything football related...And if he is successful, how bizarre would it be to see Vandy as a major contender in the SEC East?? JMHO:ermm:

I'm still firmly of the belief that Vandy needs to hire a service academy coach and start running wishbone option.

Anything different would probably benefit the Commodores milo...They just CAN'T expect to recruit the athletes to compete with SEC teams while running basically the same style offenses and defenses..Something out of the ordinary would serve them much better and I agree wishbone would be a very viable option...A wide open passing attack like Leach featured at TT would also be interesting to say the least...RB has seemed to be one of their strengths lately....As well as WR's

A run and shoot type of thing would be interesting, but Vandy needs to hire a service academy guy because what they run is how teams with smaller, less athletic guys beat bigger more athletic teams. TOP, limit the number of times their offense can kill your defense, make it so you can reasonably get consistent yardage.
