Doneiko Slaughter was a bad man tonight.

Reminded me of the Little/Wilson days tonight we had several players playing with that old 90's Defensive spirit. Byron Young particularly giving me Little vibes this season. Omari Thomas is also channeling a lil Haynsworth, and John "The real Pain Train" Henderson. ..don't get me wrong they are NOT there yet. Their numbers are long ways off from the Legendary defenses of late 90's, early 2000's TN..so I hope it doesn't go to their heads. I also Don't see a Johnathan Brown Sack Monster in sight. But the Defense is definitely starting to show some swagger. Beasly, Walker, Herring, Da'jon, Flowers...all showing some real potential...

Would be nice to see a Shaun Ellis, Terry Corey, Darwin Walker, Billy Ratliff etc out there too in this generation of Orange pain......keep it up Tennessee "D"! I wanna see our D feared again. Let me see some legendary numbers on defense again.

I love our offense, But I will always be about the defense first and foremost as those are MY GUYS!.... I beleive Banks is doing this right.

This kinda reminded me of that run back at 1:40

As good as the hit was to force the int, his int in coverage was pure art. Played extremely well tonight.

Tank looked sharp as well after missing the last few.
That was the best performance I have seen by one of our DBs since Cam Sutton.

Slaughter brings an edge to that defense.

Genius move to put him out there at CB.
I knew he could play it, and now that move really allows that defense to be more multiple while having better open field tackling as a whole out there.

Turnage had an int, and flashed well in the run support. Needs more reps even with Hadden and Charles coming back next week.
