we didn't suck against a weak team. we lost to a great florida team in gainsville in front of an extremely loud crowd. we aren't a bad team.

the best remedy for this loss is beating the #3 team in death valley. if we lose that will be a killer but dont sit there and mope. so many expecting us to lose the last game and the next game to lsu too. we just have to deal with it. to be honest, i think we run the table IF we beat lsu.

my advice to fulmer, run quick passes across the middle and short strikes. that was working the best. when we did to many bombs, we got blitzed and ainge had to end up lobbing them all up. lsu will pick those off without a problem so we want to avoid that.

still don't get depressed, we ARE NOT a bad team. we are still a top ten team.
I DO NOT men ranked in the top ten becasue that wont happen this week or for a while, but we have the talent and if we beat lsu, i think we will be back in the top ten soon enough.

Special teams problems can be fixed. Britton isn't bad, he just got shaken after the stupid pass...

I was impressed with our D. I just wish they had caused a turnover. Let's leave this one behind and go get some Tiggers.

You guys are my kinda fans. Florida has a great team and they beat TN in a really good game. I have read nothing about the performance of the UT defense last night. That was the best they have played in a long time. If we run the table there is no telling what can happen. Stay positive!!!!

If we can beat the tigers, then I think we will win the east. We just need to focus on LSU, A HUGE GAME for the rest of our season.
We are a good football team and we didn't play all that bad last night. There were about 5 bad plays that we made that screwed us. Let's move forward, we got this next one.

Jmxvol is right. Sure we were all hating life lastnight, but its over, and we've got LSU next week, time to start thinking ahead!

Thank goodness someone said it.

Not everything was negative last night.

Our D was great.
Urban Myth's O isn't some god-given talent that can't be stopped
Our QB in Ainge had some good moments

If their offense isn't that great, then how do you properly measure your defense?

TN has yet to play a team with a decent running game.

When I say not that great, I am putting it in perspective with this insane, unstoppable, god-given offense that we were expected to see.

I think they have a good offense with a lot of talent but nothing absurd that the media wanted us to believe.

I'm on the same boat. Look how many times early losses in the SEC race end up mattering so little at the end.

Despite the outcome, Florida looked VERY vulnerable last year, and don't forget that, like us, they have a tough road schedule: games AT Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, and the Cocktail Party. If you think that UF has locked up a spot in Atlanta with last night's win, think again.

All we can do is be pissed and depressed for a day or two, then turn the corner and look to this saturday. We can build on our SOLID defensive play. We can learn from the disaster that has become of the QB rotation. We can work on special teams, then work on special teams, and then work on special teams some more. Catch the football. Don't let a freshman punter have the leeway to make a stupid decision. Don't kick the #&%*ing ball out of bounds on the kickoff. (sorry about that, but that one still burns a little bit). We can turn past "page one" of our offensive playbook. We can remember that we have/had a Heistman candidate at running back and that it just might be a good idea to feed him the football when he's chewing up the D for 8 yards a pop.

Last night sucks. I'm upset and sad and totally disappointed in the way the game was coached. But it's over. We'll get 'em next year.

Now let's go hunt some Tiger.

I agree with U-T. After all the Urban Meyer hype I was afraid they'd hang 40 points on us before we knew what hit us. I am proud of our team and although I would rather lose to ANY team but Florida it could have been much, much, worse. It leaves a bitter taste in our mouths BECAUSE it was the dang Gators. I imagine our team is tasting the same thing.
