I doubt either of them play barring an injury to Worley. They want to redshirt both of the Freshmen QBs and I wouldn't think either see the field vs GA, Alabama, or USCe. CBJ actually said on his radio show that he believes Worley's accuracy is improving.

They obviously just are not ready. They obviously aren't better than peterman snd we all know how that ended. Just have to trust the coach.

CBJ is in a bad situation. If he started a Freshman QB in 3rd QTR and they threw a ton of INTs and we lost the game everyone will be saying we should have kept Worley.

So if Worley gets hurt we'll have a true freshman with no game experience come in to play? Seems legit.

What if Worley's helmet comes off and he has to set out a play? Is TN just going to throw in the towel?

Would a few handoffs and/or a couple simple passes for a freshman really make much difference anyway?

Playing a backup wasn't really an option today anyway.

On the flip side at least this way we won't have to hear you say "he burned a redshirt for this!?!" CBJ isn't going to please everyone, thank god otherwise we would have had 2 or 3 Peteremans out there, sit back on the couch and watch a slow year, we will be back

You wouldn't hear me say that. I am in favor of redshirting one of the two getting a year of separation between them.

I thought the same thing. If Worley goes down then u got a TR FR playing with no snaps taken. And with our next 3 opponents its not impossible, especially as much as he got hit against USA.

Yes I think a series or two would be of benefit. As to not being an option today well that speaks volumes.

I think the freshmen will have plenty of opportunity to play in blowouts in the coming weeks. Unfortunately we'll be the ones getting whipped.

Interesting line of speculation. I have to think we'd probably see a wildcat there, possibly direct snaps to Pig or AJ. North also played some QB and RB in high school.

I have to think that if the game against Georgia gets out of hand (not that big of an if) CBJ is going to get some reps for one of the freshmen. Let them get some experience when there's not too much pressure starting out
