My guess is that they know Barry has serious IRS problems, so they don't want to provoke the government too much. I think they will continue to play the persecution angle, just not so vehemently as to paint the USAG's office in San Francisco into a corner.(Lexvol @ Jul 29 said:You are correct sir.
In JG defense he seems to be handling it well. Doesn't sound too defensive. Part of me wishes that Bonds legal team would be a little more agressive, but perhaps Hat, or other attorneys might explain why they aren't.
The most frustrating thing to me is that they won't simply acknowledge they have no perjury case. Greg Anderson is not going to talk to them. Without his testimony, they're getting nowhere. Say what you will about Barry, I certainly wouldn't mind having Greg Anderson as a friend.
