the scary thing is they may do it. the pre season prognostication left PSU out of the mix all together in the big 10. if they beat wisconsin, then that PSU/OSU game becomes H U G E.It would be something if PSU ran the table in a year when everybody in College Station is trying to push Paterno out the door, wouldn't it?
It is for sure that the season got more interesting. That includes the Volunteers if they have the guts...The whole season just got a lot more interesting, that's for sure. Which makes it that much more depressing that it's still September and yet the good guys are already way, way out of the running. For everything.

Here's hoping. However, there's too many hurdles left in the season to do too much gloating.Auburn is not very good, so we'll probably beat them this weekend so that Fulmer can gloat all week and all the pressure will be off him. He has been enormously good at doing just enough to keep his job. I expect that to continue.
College Station = Texas A&M
State College = Penn St
lol:at the edit.Of course. My apologies for mixing up a couple of generically named college towns. The nine pints of Guinness I've enjoyed tonight had nothing to do with it, I'm sure.
EDIT: Withdrawn. I don't apologize; instead, I'd like to extend a digit in the general direction of anyone in either town who might be annoyed that I mixed them up. Want me to remember the name of your miserable little one-horse town? Name it something more memorable than "College Town, Wherever."
