Just saw this tweet from Rucker and thought I would share: "Anyone who thinks these #Vols don't care should have just spent 30 minutes in their locker room. They're crushed. Trust me ... they care."

Honestly, I'd much rather you told me they didn't care.

Now I'm worried about hangover to next week.

i think it might be a better wake up honestly; though i kinda felt a loss to LSU would have served as that also

Wake ups are when you think you are that much better than a bad team and get upset - losing to LSU.

Getting beat by 30 by your arch-rival and have them rub it in your face when you are hitting your stride and have been playing good ball lately.....not so much.

Good, they need to feel crushed. Then they need to use this to pound the dog crap out of Jerkwater St. in the opening round and whatever decent team they play in the second.

I tend to agree. I know they wanted to win, but honestly the first couple of games had me wondering if this wasn't coming in this game. Boys, remember what this feels like and go out and get it done in the tourney.

if they had to play on Tues, yeah i might think so; but i think they'll get enough of a break that this will work both to hang over their head and motivate them by the time their first game comes

though i'd be much more confident if they had to sit at home a week beforehand honestly

Four days in a row of Basketball is enough to tire any team out. Negedu would've been huge for us today. Chism, Williams, and Hall were obviously worn down. I hate to complain about Refs, because it's great when it works to our advantage, but that was horrible. I'm trying to figure out if they(ky) will get preferential treatment like that in the NCAA?? It was worse than Miss St. game when Ky got all those calls in the last 2 minutes and overtime.
