After watching his offense go 8 straight 3 & out possessions vs Ky in the 2nd half, Mizzou OC Derek Dooley watched their worn out defense give up the winning TD in classic Derek Dooley style- on an untimed play after regulation had ended. That’s 3 games I know of where he was involved in games he’s lost after the clock ran out. Pretty amazing stat.

Dooley is a jinx. I just hope he has 1 more in him to use vs the Vols.

To be fair, Missouri’s DB got hit with an awful PI call that gave UK an extra chance to win.

But I agree, Dooley just doesn’t have it. Never has, never will.

I guess that awful is in the eye of the beholder. I could definitely understand why it was called.

But to the OP's point, you get what you get with Dooley. Mizzou lacked anything clever in the 2nd half. Zero first downs and 8 punts will get you every time.

Just think. He loses Drew Lock after this season.

While it was happening live, I thought it was an obvious DPI. Then on replay I definitely think it's a no call. Contact wasn't started by the defensive player, and the ball really wasn't ever going to be caught in bounds.

But UK still had to line up and make a play. And although I would be complaining as much as anyone if it happened to us, Missouri really didnt do anything in the 2nd half to close the game.

I give zero Fs about Mizzou's misfortunes. Cats have gotten the shaft forever. Time for some balls to bounce our way.

I have no problem with that attitude, just know you were gifted another shot at the endzone.

Would like to forget him but he's making a purdy good living doing what, I assume he loves. Most of my life I couldn't say that w/o lyin'

Our luck he will coach his best game against us

What did Mizzou expect from a guy who has never called plays before as an OC? Their Heisman candidate QB has dropped off under Stooley Dooley. Probably going to be a one-and-done for Dools. Hope his wife is still practicing medicine.

I suspect that staff is coaching for their jobs these last couple of games.

Dooley signed a 3 yr $2.7mill deal with Mizzou. If they fire the entire staff ole Precious will be back making more money NOT to coach than he ever did coaching. WHAT A WASTE!
