If Hart's head doesn't roll at this point, I have just about lost faith in the program. For the first time as a UT graduate, I am actually embarrassed with our AD and program. This is just truly sad. Oh, and for those screaming for Petrino-- it will be hard for him to coach when he doesn't have any players. What parent would allow their son to play for a guy like that with his dirty laundry so fresh??? I truly feel sorry for our kids on the team right now. Hart has one job and he has failed miserably. He needs to give us back some of the money he clearly has NOT earned.

As much as I want to see Peyton break Favre's td's, yds, and wins records, at this point it almost seems worth it to have someone pull a Tonya Harding on his knee so he can come coach UT.

I kid, I kid.

You are for the 1st time embarrassed by the AD. Where were you during the Hamilton era of program destruction?

I don't see this as that big of a blow, other than I thought Strong was one of the top choices. It's not so much a rebuff of UT as it is Louisville and Jurich ponying up to keep Strong. Jurich had said they would earlier this season.

He is getting $4.1 million to stay. We only offered $4 million, and I think had we upped the bid Lousville would have responded again.

At that point, it was probably enough. I like Strong, but $4 million is more than enough. It's not like he had won the NC at Lousville or anything.

I never thought Gundy would leave OSU to begin with and I'm not even 100% sure we offered him.

There is still plenty of time to find a good coach.
