Dooley is really growing on me/ Recruit update Reply
I used to skip over or sift through practice updates and notes, but now I find myself reading every one just to see what he says. I love his demeanor and his outlook on things. He is very honest but optimistic.
On a recruiting insider note, I was recently hired as an assistant football coach where Rivals 250 ATH Rodney Coe plays. A few of you might remember him earlier when Kiffin was recruiting him hard. Kiffin is still recruiting him hard, and their new coordinator that they stole from the Titans called our head coach today to talk to him...
Our head coach then asked Rodney if he wanted to talk to them and he simply got a sour look on his face and shook his head no. That was a delight to me to say the least. Then, he asked Rodney what his list looks like now...
Rodney dropped Tennessee from his list about a month ago, but Dooley kept at it and we are now back in his top 5, and USC is out.
This kid is the best high school football player I have ever seen in person (not that I have seen any 5 star guys in person or anything)...But, I assure you that if we land this guy, he will make an immediate impact. Stay tuned for more updates..
