CCM has instilled discipline and toughness, his team has leadership, and they play within themselves.

Its very enjoyable to watch a team believe in themselves and improve game by game. Martin's player development (coaching them up) will be a magnet for top recruits.

I hate these threads. They also always come from people I've never seen post in the basketball forum before.

Vol fans will always be bitter from Sept-December as long as we have a lameduck coach in place. But my oh my do we still have a fun basketball team to watch.

I was a skeptic on Cuonzo at first, but that's what separates a bad coach from a good coach.... good coaches will shut the skeptics up by winning and producing a quality team.

Let's make a run for this NCAA tourny bid! GO VOLS!

Apples & Oranges.

However, Dooley needs to learn to take responsibility, like Coach Martin has in the past. That is one thing he should learn from him.

True. This is my first post in this forum. I happen to be proud of this team, and I am behind CM because he is winning by COACHING these guys to reach their potential. It took 2/3rds of the season for these guys to buy in. I like Dooley also, but am disappointed that lack of discipline and focus vs UK have put him on the hot seat. Martin has complete control over this program, while Dooley does not appear to. Does anyone disagree????

Dooley has 100 guys. C. Martin has 12. This is the most irrelevent post I've ever seen. CCM stays here long enough and I think he will, he will deal with this at some point in his time here. I think he's doing an outstanding job. And I'm not exactly taking Dooley's side here because he does have some things he needs to do better but to compare Dooley's discipline to CCM makes no sense.

Great. The same damn thread phrased a differnt way. Why do we have to have one of these every time we win an F-ing basketball game. Can't this just be about the damn basketball team and their accomplishments.
