For those of you who watch the pressers every week...

Have you noticed the sharp decline in Dooley's personality and demeanor? When I first heard Dooley at a press conference I was thankful for:

2010

1) Southern roots
2) Pride in the SEC
3) Knowledge of Tennessee's greatness

The dude is now lower than low. What I hear every time he speaks:

2012

1) Whiney and defensive
2) Cluelessness about where the program is
3) Over his head and uncomfortable

It's like watching someone on life support. Time to pull the plug Mr. Hart. End the pain.

Of course. 4-18 in the SEC will do that to you.

Well, sounds like he got fired yesterday unbeknownst to him. I can cut him some slack for sounding rough.

He looks defeated and deflated. I watch them all to. I live near Clemson, but am not a fan. All I can say is Dabo has fire and that's what we need. I see Dabos fire all over Clemson and the fans. I'm jealous.

Hard to have a pity party for someone that is getting fired but will collect $5 million. I wish I could be so fortunate. The people we need to feel sorry for are ourselves ( the fans) that have paid thousands of dollars to watch the crap we have had to watch. Also feel sorry for the players that have had to play for a coach that doesn't coach to win.

Being a responsible and concerned person who has realized his job is on the line will probably do that. As well as the crucifiction from obnoxious and selfish fans.

Seriously?....would you expect him to be doing jumping jacks with excitement? I mean this season has been hell for him, the assistant coaches, and players.....and your put out because he's not gitty with excitement during recent press conferences. I'm sorry, but that's just ridiculous!

I really believe he tried to do the best he could do for the big orange, it just didn't work out, good luck to him moving forward

Oh my Lord. "How hard he tried." He is whiny and defensive and spoiled. He is supposed to try for these kids instead of losing confidence in them and talking about it publicly. He did look like shat.

You don't think he tried hard?

Being older, I have the experience of jumping into positions that I thought I was ready for. Some I was; some I was not. If it ends well (amicably), the university has learned what it needs going forward (top tier coach commanding big $) and Dooley has learned his limitations (at least at this point in his coaching life). While the experience has been horrid, each has learned and can benefit from it. The sad thing though, is that many of our foes in the SEC have also watched and learned from our mistakes. I'm sure the phrase, "Lets don't make a Dooley mistake here" is probably being said at Arky, Ky, and Awbarn.

Good Lord, I didn't know Susan Lucci posted on here. Point is he is a big boy, he signed up for this for good and bad, not to mention he is being compensated ver handsomely. He tried, he hasn't performed, and now he must go. Head coach at UT is a high profile position if you haven't noticed, big boy pants are required.

How long did it take you think this nonsense up.
