Dooley wants fired

Yet as this season falls apart our AD is sitting back trying to decide what to do. Keeping quiet and allowing things to play out. Other schools have announced they are looking for coaches. Our recruiting is in the trash and yet we still just let it play out. It is doing nothing but hurting the next head coach. As I have said 183 times, everyday Dooley is still out coach, we fall further behind in the SEC. Vandy will beat this team next week.

You made your choice

I think Dooley wants out, too. He knows he's in over his head. We will lose to Vandy if he's coaching. If he's out, I think we can win it. He brings bad energy, bad chemistry, bad mojo to the team.

Fire this sorry SOB. I'm over it. I'm an alum of this university and am tired of this happening to my university.

His coaching at the end of the half/end of game was inexcusable. He must be terminated. I don't want to hear the sunshine pumpers about how improved the offense is etc.... It's a joke and the joke is on the UT fan base.

There is not a coach in all of college football that would of not tried to win this game in regulation with 40a seconds and two timeouts at midfield. Dooley has to want to be fired after this decision.

I've been screaming this since the Florida loss. You, sir, are SO right.

And if the AD and Higher ups don't act soon enough, they will beat us next year too, even if Dooley is fired. Like you said they are killing us ever so slowly everyday they keep quite and let dooley be the coach.
Now if they don't fire him at the end of the year and keep him for 2013, well you can count on UT not being relevant for at least the next 4-5 years and having next to no chance of getting a real coach.
His previous recruiting classes are proving to be overranked with only 2-3 good players each year, this year is an absolute joke and next year will be even worse. Keeping him for 2013 will leave the next coach with a horrible young roster and upper classmen that have learned how to play in college by the worst HC in the BCS.

If I was Bray I would have told Dooley to f*** off and took my team out on the field to try and win the game.

If he wasn't trying to get fired, i think he really may have some mental issues. Maybe he's gotten hooked on pain meds.

Of course he does.. Think about it he gets Five large for sitting on his butt in his bathrobe, eating bon bons while watching Days of Our Lives if he gets canned. If it were me (because believe me I'd be just as inept of a coach), I'd be out there in crimson pants for the first game, wearing an elephant hat. I don't hate him... I'm actually kind of jealous.

I think Dooley realizes he is over his head in the SEC and that 4 million will set him up for a while. I think he will be relieved to leave Tennessee and us fans will be relieved to see him go.

You can't fix stupid. Dooley had to know what he did at the end of the game quitting on his team would get him fired. If he didn't he should be fired for being stupid. Either way he has to go.
