UK's freshman and leading 3-point shooter in the SEC announced to the media that he will return next year regardless of the outcome in the tournament. It is rumored that Knight will return as well as he only needs one more year to obtain a degree (took tons of dual credit classes in high school). You might as well say goodbye to T. Jones though.

That being said, UK has the potential to be NASTY next year. They will return Miller, Liggins, Knight, Lamb, 3 of the top 5 players in the country in their recruiting class (2 of which will be much needed big men), and another top 25 player in Kyle Wiltjer. UK will be tough next year!

Not really breaking news, his game is nowhere near translating to the NBA game. However, it's always good to hear.

I know. It's just that this is the first time that he actually came out and said yes or no. Know what I mean?

Apparently, through all of his excitement, he forgot how to spell his name. I loathe the kittens but even I know it's DorOn.

Anyone know where Knight is projected to be drafted? His draft stock will rise if UK keeps going into the tourney.

I was thinking would he even get drafted?!? I only saw Knight and Jones as NBA potential on that team for now anyways.

Hmm. I agree. He wasn't going pro anyways but your right....UK will probably have it's toughest team yet next year. No reason they shouldn't go all the way.

I'm not too sure Knight is staying, he's a top 14 pick right now. Cal said when a guy is in the top half of the first round he usually recommends they leave.

Doesnt matter, though. UK has Teague, Gilchrist and Davis coming in. They'll be able to beat the Nets.

You got to wonder how some of those top ranked recruits would feel (Teague) if a guy like Knight were to return. Guys that are that highly rated don't want to be sitting on the bench when there main goal is the NBA.

I posted it where it needed to be posted. In the "Around the NCAA" section of VolNation. If I posted it in the UT Bball section, I could see your argument. But I didn't. So if you don't like it then don't go into the Around the NCAA section of VolNation.

I hate KY. I hate Coach Cal. I hope an NCAA investigation blows them into the stone ages.

There, I said it.

So, Lamb coming back had nothing to do with the fact he wouldn't get drafted?

Got it!

Excellent point, in other breaking news, I am staying on at the engineering firm and not opting for the NBA.

Seriously, Knight would be crazy to stay in school. Jones seems to be a potential head case. Lamb looks like a 4 year player (size) who has the potential to be a good college player (things might not be so easy for him when he is the 1st or 2nd option and gets 1st and 2nd attention from the defense).

But why am I caring so much it's UK. Go Butler ! Go VCU ! Go UConn !

Thanks, Francis. I guess you told us. By the way, our posts are telling you what we (many in/on Volnation think). So don't post it if you don't want comments.
