* Sophomore Alyssia Brewer was named SEC Tournament Most Valuable Player

* Sophomores Alicia Manning and Shekinna Stricklen were named to the SEC All-Tournament Team

* This ties the third fastest season to 30 wins

* This is the first time since 2000 that any team has won the SEC regular-season and tournament titles; that year, Tennessee and Georgia tied for the regular-season title and the Lady Vols downed Mississippi State 70-67 for the tournament title

* Today's starters: junior Angie Bjorklund, sophomores Alyssia Brewer, Kelley Cain, Alicia Manning and Shekinna Stricklen

* Two Lady Vols scored in double figures: Stricklen (20) and Cain (11)

* Two Lady Vols hauled in double digit rebounds: Johnson (11) and Manning (11)

* UT's largest lead of the first half was 10 (19-9), at the 11:32 mark; it's largest deficit was two (25-23) was at 5:00

* Tennessee led at the half for the 25th time this season; in those games UT is 25-0

* Tennessee outrebounded Kentucky, 51-32; it is the 30th time this season UT has won the battle of the boards

* Tennessee outscored Kentucky 44-30 in the paint and the UT reserves topped the Wildcat bench 17-9

* The Lady Vols made a three-pointer for the 405th consecutive game

* The Lady Vols will return to Knoxville and prepare for the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee will host the first and second rounds on March 20 and 22. The NCAA Tournament Selection Show is on Monday, March 15, at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

Sophomore Alyssia Brewer:

Had the first basket of the game - a layup off a great Cain pass at the 18:50 mark

Finished with eight points, four rebounds and two blocks

Named SEC Tournament Most Valuable Player

Sophomore Kelley Cain:

Finished with 11 points and four rebounds in only 16 minutes

Scored double digit points for the 26th time

Is in sixth place in the UT record books with 152 career blocks; Nicky Anosike is fifth with 161

Owns the UT single season blocks record with 103 on the season

Sophomore Alicia Manning:

Finished with 11 rebounds and six points

Hauled in double digit rebounds for the fourth time

Named to the SEC All-Tournament Team

Sophomore Shekinna Stricklen:

Finished with 20 points, nine boards and three assists

Finished with her 43rd career double digit scoring game

Recorded her ninth 20-plus point performance

Named to the SEC All-Tournament Team

Junior Angie Bjorklund:

Finished with eight points, three rebounds and two assists

She now has 1,112 career points

Is in third place in the UT annals with 223 career three pointers made; Kara Lawson is second with 256

Is in second place in the UT single season records with 93 threes on the year; Shanna Zolman is first with 103
