Last season's thread can be found here: http://www.volnation.com/forum/sports-forum/17842-dougs-ncaaf-betting-conquest.html

I ended around 40 units UP last season, which is so much fun to brag about! I update this thread each week with my real bets and my year to date record and units moved. I'm not saying you should make these bets, either. You can post your bets, too. Now it's time to try to duplicate the money making. Last year's thread was a hit, so visit in. With early lines out on a few sites, I decided to put 3 bets down, but you can expect my Week 1 list to grow as we get closer. So, the 3 I placed:

Tennessee +5' @ California

Arizona State O7.5 Wins

Oregon O7 Wins

I have the worst luck EVER with sports betting. But, some reason, I feel compelled to give it another shot this year.

Unlike the last 10 years where I have lost a lot of money betting on football, this year is going to be different. I have figured out that to win money you have to bet big. So this season I'm leveraging everything on my picks and betting it all. I've got a really good feeling about it.

No such thing as feelings only research:yes:

All good lines- I might try these, considering your track record.

Who do you use VIA?

Last season I used Bowmans, Mansion, and Bet CRIS, but NONE of those 3 are taking US customers now.

Bowmans gave their accounts to Bodog, so I have an account there. BetCRIS gave their accounts to Bookmaker, so I also have an account there.

Mansion is dead to me, so my 3rd book will be Pinnacle.

I'd suggest going to sportsbookreviews.com and looking at the grades for a site you like. They are THE authority on which sites are trustworthy.

Love the ASU pick, I suppose I will post my picks once I get going a few weeks into the season.

Can someone care to explain to me how this works? I'd like to get into sports betting sometime, a game a week or something like that. I'm not yet old enough, I don't think, but it can't hurt to learn.

What do the lines mean? U46? O7?

U46 is the total points line. I figured the combined score of ND/GT would be under 46 total(U46), and I won because 33+3=36 which is < 46

The other one is season win totals. I say Oregon wins more than 7 regular season games.

Okay, thanks.

I agree with boise not because i think boise is good, but because I refuse to believe locker and that horrible oline is as good as they looked against the cuse.
