No real contribution 2nd half as I recall.

They did show a few clips of him nodding his head and dancing around on the side line in the 2nd half...probly will be sportscenter highlight material seeing as he does absolutely no wrong whatsoever in their eyes!!!

He played a helluva first half and no doubt was disruptive in the 2nd even if he didn't make as many plays. When a guy as talented as Clowney is on the field he does make a difference even if he doesn't make a tackle...jmo

That being said it pisses me off that when you click on the video on espn that is titled referencing our win-the video is a 30 sec clip of Clowney hitting Neal and doesn't mention anything else about the game....it is horse sh**!!

I said early in game how it was opposite of last year. Clowney was non existent until last play of game last year. This year he was dominant for a couple series and doubled his TFL output for the year. However this year our line stood tall at the end and we pull out a great victory

Great post! It is amazing what happens when we play as a TEAM!

It could also be that we began double-teaming him in the 2nd half, which allowed their D-Tackles to make a lot of the tackles in the backfield

Who cares about Clowney. Lets talk about our young men who played their hearts out today. GO VOLS!

That's pretty much the point. The Vols upset a highly ranked opponent and gained a quality win. Yet, sportscasters/analysts like Mark May only want to talk about how Clowney doubled his TFL output for the season during the first half. They love to mention how many games it has been since the Vols beat a ranked opponent or an SEC opponent, but give them no airtime credit when they go out there and get it done. The Vols played a hell of a game and deserve to be recognized for it. They can kick me off of this blog if they want to, but f$#% Mark May. F$#@ him right in his ear.
