what happened to Courtney Brown? He was the #1 pick in 2000 but not playing anymore. Really not sure how his career went.

Tore his ACL in 2006. Failed his physical in 2007. He retired in 2007.

Ref threw a flag that hit him in the eye and caused visual problems for several years while up in cleveland, then had injury issues

ended up in Denver, after a year had ACL injury in 2006 and failed a 2007 physical; Coach Shanahan suggested he retire after 2007

EDIT: whoops, my bad. that was browns offensive lineman orlando brown in 1999

Is Chris Henry listed? That pick was a joke, guess it fit the Titans perfectly :)

The successful reading of and drafting of Chris Johnson negates any recent unsuccessful draft picks at RB, including but not limited to: Chris Henry and Chris Brown

Two picks that could have been spent somewhere else. BTW, I made that last point just to bait you :p

I know; my response was in humor :)

Brown actually had a good first season as starter (i dont think i'd ever seen a guy get 100 yards in the first halves of his 1st 3 games as a starter...and like 3 150 yard games), big problem was the guy ran straight up and down like a gazzelle and that got him hurt a whole bunch

They have a problem with their 2nd round picks, either them starting off really well but becoming badly injured (Chris Brown, Tyrone Calico) or being a Chris Henry

edit: oh, brown was a 3rd round pick

I didn't even think Brown was a bad pick. I thought Henry was doomed to be a bust from the start.

Brown's career just became really less productive after year 1 or 2

oh yeah henry was; he's was "practice pick" on the pick they were going to make on Chris Johnson the next year :)

Crazy how many WRs are on that list. Some of them, like David Terrell and especially Charles Rogers, I expected to be big time stars. I knew RJ Soward would suck though. Actually, most people did except the Jags.

ok so he's obviously had production, I guess the question though has his level of production been equivalent to what one would expect from a top 10 pick?

I think it's good production from that pick, but maybe people were expecting him to come in and make the lions d top ten.

WR is a position that has bust picks probably more than any other
