What the hell? Portland fourth? :banghead:

Worst year ever. We get humiliated this season then screwed by being given a 25% shot at the #1 overall... And get the fourth pick. Terrrible.

Oh well.

Who is going #1? I don't know of a clear cut #1 that everyone wants. Also dunno any of any big time foreign players, which I'm sure there are a few of.

Andrea Bargnani is the big foreign guy in the draft. An Italian 7-footer with a mean perimeter game. The Raptors could really go any way they wanted with the first pick. Morrison, Thomas and Aldridge would all be good picks.

Isaiah Thomas is the NBA executive of the century.

I am sure he will trade the 20th and 29th pick to get rid of Brown.

No clearcut ones. I do think, though, that there are enoug good players coming out of college that you could see a bunch of sleeper stars from this year's class.

I just don't get what the NBA's fascination is with 7 footers. The list of busts is just unreal.

Because even a 7-footer with no game can be a servicable player. It reminds me of a Mitch Hedburg joke in an abstract way. "Escalators can't break. They can only become stars. When they break, they should put up signs that say 'sorry for the convenience.'" Just like highly-touted 7-footers going into the NBA. They may suck, but they're still taller than 90% of the league.
