Looks like Logan Moore signed with the Phillies and has been assigned to the GCL Phils.

Any news on some of the other drafted kids?

As of today, of the four drafted players from the 2011 team, only Ramsey remains unsigned.

Of the four drafted recruits, only Logan Moore has signed. He signed on Father's Day, which is kind of cool since he got drafted by the same team his dad played for. It was apparent when he was on campus for his official visit last fall that UT was his "Plan B" only in case he didn't get drafted. His signing was expected.

I don't have any insight on what the others will do.

The Hartford Courant reports that freshman recruit RHP Sal Romano has signed with the Reds. Attended summer school, but isn't coming back for the fall semester.

Could have really used Romano but I can see why the Reds signed him.

Romano was projected as a high round pick and got paid accordingly. His signing adds another question mark to next spring's pitching staff. Hard to see any returning pitchers with a clear inside track to be a weekend starter, and now a guy who might have been the best freshman arm is gone. Who's left to carry the load? Rebuilding isn't going to be easy.
