Unknown commodity, IMO. App St should have been very good this year, and they were. All he proved this year is that he's capable of not messing up something that was handed to him on a platter. He'll have a decent little rebuilding job on his hands at Mizzou.
I'm still kind of surprised they fired Odom, to be honest. I thought that the 7 and 8-win seasons that preceded this year would give him a little cushion to withstand a 6-6 season, especially considering the sanctions and bowl ban. I never thought he was a particularly great hire for them to begin with (he seemed like the safe, lazy choice once Pinkel retired) but it isn't like he was awful. I think the Wyoming and especially Vandy losses did him in. Going into that Vandy game, they were 5-1 and #22 in the country, then lost 5 in a row.
