Who is DSK?

Did he truly have a road to Damascus moment, and was he intent on truly reforming the IMF? Is he really a French Socialist?

The IMF has more authority over most countries than their elected governments. It has been absolutely sacrosanct over the last 40 years that if you want to have a real, national economy, you flout all IMF reforms and go your own path. Those who do not, simply transfer their national wealth into US and European banks in the neo-colonialism of the modern era and watch their economies collapse. See which Asian Tigers didn't collapse and a litany of countries: Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Haiti, Jamaica, the Russian Republics, etc, etc, etc for a list of economies who cratered until they simply broke with the IMF.

I had almost no faith in DSK as a real French socialist or as an IMF reformer. He has been described in French social circles as a "chimpanzee in heat" with his unapologetic womanizing. However, given the laughable sexual allegation charges against Julian Assange - by a known CIA operative no less (Sweden, how low you have fallen!) - I have started to wonder. However voracious his sexual appetites, he evidently has had no problem satisfying it with consenting adults.

It almost makes me think he really did have a RtoD moment, and this is a set-up. His career is derailed, regardless of outcome of the trial - as all these cases are.

Regardless, the IMF needs to focus on its original charter - creating employment and development (although it could be updated now to be "carbon-free" development). Over the last 40 years, it has ruined more economies than it has ever helped. Madame Lagrange and Gordon Brown should not seriously be considered as replacements. I'd rather have Bono.

I'm having a bit of trouble deciphering this. Are you saying:

1. The loss of DSK as head of the IMF is bad for the world?
2. He was possibly set up to get him out of the way?
3. He set himself up?

1. Reforming the IMF would be immensely beneficial for the world. If he truly had a Road to Damascus moment and intended major, proper reforms, it is a blow (no pun intended) to the world.

2. Yes. Given the farce that is the accusations against Julian Assange (Anna is a known CIA operative), this very well could be a set-up. If he truly had a RtD moment, the banking clan would not stand for it. However, let us see the evidence from the real world. He is a well-known lothario who has been described (how did they get away with this?) as a "chimpanzee in heat" in the French press. He has a lot of notches on his belt, so it is puzzling why he would resort to force; however, his sexual appetites are, evidently, legendary and voracious.

3. No.

I'm not sure he had a real Road to Damascus moment. I doubted his credentials as a French socialist from the beginning.
