The back page of the NY Daily News and NY Post have both capitalized on the throwing ducks comment, and since I have never uploaded a photo here, I also have included the link. Looks like Peyton has another possible gig when he retires!

With 55 TDs and 1.5% intercept rate - those ducks must be flying really well.

And if I were Sherman, I would think less about Peyton's ducks and worry more about him cooking my goose!

Can't wait until Peyton toasts these guys so we can talk about how good Peyton Manning is and not about whether or not Richard Sherman is a thug. Who freakin' cares......

Manning does throw a wobbly ball but it's always on target and it gets there at the right time. At the end of the day, that's all that matters.

Peyton should grow the long beard like in the picture on the magazine cover in that article.

Sherman is a jealous little girl.. talking about the popular kids in school to try and make herself feel better about the fact she will never be 1/10th of the Player that PM is..

Peyton goes down in history as a TOP 3 QB at the very least to EVER play the game...

within 3 years.. No one will even remember Sherman, Most didn't even know who he was until he started running his mouth to begin with...

That's a bit of an exaggeration. All NFL fans knew who Richard Sherman was. He's the best cornerback in the league.

I watch every Sunday... granted I have never given two hoots about Seattle. But I have never heard his name mentioned until this crap...

And that's even with me watching them skunk the Giants this year... I am sure he was talked about at some point, but nothing that caught my attention

Lol are you serious? I understand you don't like Sherman, but damn dude the dudes a beast. Over the last 3 years, he's only been in the league for 3 years, he has had 5 more pics than any one else in The NFL. Dude is the best corner in the game and they will stop throwing to his side just like they did to Deion back in the day. Come on man any real NFL fan knows Sherman

A QB touches the ball on every snap and his stats are easily measured, thus discussed.

As a DB, your stat sheet doesn't look that impressive if you've done your job. If you've done your job, the QB doesn't throw your way, thus no stats but the impact is noted.

See how many times Manning throws towards Sherman today. It truly is a great match-up.
