Considering the limited football tradition, among other obstacles, if Duke's David Cutcliffe doesn't win coach of the year it's a shame.

It's a two-man race between he and Malzahn. I'd be comfortable with either winning the award.

Come on Blue Devils. I never root for you in basketball but this is your time to shine.

Duke is chewing up a lot of clock on their drives. Will benefit them in the 2nd half. Really pulling for the Fighting Cutcliffes.

Duke starts at their own 2 and gets all the way down to the UNC 3 before the drive stalls and they have to kick a FG.

10-7 Blue Devils

I'm starting to think UNC is good enough to make them pay every time they only kick a FG

UNC drives down the field for a TD, scores a 2 pt conversion.

It's now 15-10 UNC with 1:30 left in the second

Duke got down to the 37 but pretty much timed out and had to attempt the long field goal, which was missed.

17-15 Duke at half

Duke's defense has been pretty good, the only mistake was that dropped punt.

Duke picks off UNC's QB on the opening drive and drives down to score. Duke up 24-15.

That was 2 bad passes in a row by Duke's QB. I thought he had a decent chance of running it for that first down.

Duke is one quarter away from it's first ever 10 win season and ACC championship game appearance. Finish strong guys.

In hindsight, Cut would have been a great coach here.

He wouldn't have got the time he needed to succeed though.
