Records can definitely be thrown out in this game, one of the few rivalries where that cliche is true. I expect Carolina to come out of the gate pretty strong, but I think the Smith and Scheyer play are the difference and Duke wins by 5-10 points. We will see, I'm heading to the game in about an hour, luckily I was able to score some tix this afternoon.

not so much. The better team typically wins and if the matchup is close, home court typically decides the winner. The ESPN hype machine doesn't change the reality of the actual basketball game.Records can definitely be thrown out in this game, one of the few rivalries where that cliche is true. Congratulations. I would love to attend any Duke game. I can't imagine being at a game of that magnitude at Chapel Hill.
Being a lifelong Carolina fan, I fully appreciate the rivalry and that rankings and records don't matter. I remember the double OT game in the Gaudet season (do Duke fans recognize that season, I can't remember. But, considering Carolina's struggles this season, I'm supposed to believe that Duke is the 8th best team in the country when they're winning this game 28-27 at the half?
