Glad to hear and hope he is on track. Always believed in 2nd chances and hope Duke makes the most of it.

Good luck to one of my favorite basketball players of the Pearl Era. Sure wish it would have worked out for him here on the Hill.

I still have my duke signed pic on my wall.. He was one of my favorites and one of the nicest guys... good luck to him..

Great to hear an update on Duke. I think all Vol fans are really pulling for Duke to put it together. Great personality and wish it had worked out for him at UT.

Its too bad about Duke Crews. He was a great player. I guess sometimes people have to learn life's lessons the hard way. All the best, Duke...:thumbsup:

He used to hang out with Michael Phelps.

Seriously, its nice to see Duke making the most out of his second chance. Andre Allen got kicked off of Memphis' team for the same thing, and then he managed to get kicked off the next team he went to also. At least Duke has realized how much this game means to him, some kids never get it.

Good job Duke, since UT would not give you a second chance we signed this awsome kid named Williams, who playes about as good as you can expect for a kid who has never played, on a team with no passion...another great move pearl. I bet pearl sucks at chess

Crews got a Hell of a lot more than two chances at UT. Was also still on the team last year when Williams arrived. It would help if you had at least a rudimentary grasp of the facts before you post.

Seriously? Duke had plenty of "second chances" while he was here. I believe it is something like 5 failed drug tests before you have to be dismissed, so don't say he didn't get a second chance.

I hope you were drunk when you posted this. Crews was a good player, but not something TN basketball can live without.

He was WAY overrated if you ask me, to begin with. He belongs at Bowie, not TN.

Here's a picture from their media guide. He was one of the players on the cover. I wish him well. I miss his defensive intensity.
