I was just watching ESPN and they brought up an interesting stat. In the last 2 or 3 games, Duke has shot 80 free throws to their opponents combined 21. That's just ridiculous. Why don't the refs just give them the NC? :disappointed:

Against Florida State they shot 33 to State's 11. That's crazy.

Actually I think it was like 42 or 43 to 11 bro...I think the stat you mentioned was from the BC game..I think the fact that ESPN had that question asked during the gameday spoke volumes of the officiating Dook gets.

Then maybe it WAS 80 to 21 in 2 games. Again, that's just crazy.

Dook fans will never admit they get more of the fouls..I know UNC does..but not in the same league as them!

Duke is gonna get throttled by a team in the NCAA tourney that has a few good big men.

UConn or LSU could be the team that does it.

Al Thornton probably had one of the best games in FSU history today, and FSU still had several chances to win despite the mandatory +30 Duke free throw advantage.

Hard to deny it when you can show them the stat sheet.

but does Duke utilize the low post man on offense more than most teams, or do their guards penetrate more than most? Both would draw more shooting foul calls

Both would draw more, but it wouldn't be THAT lopsided would it?

I think success breeds success....that includes referee calls....in any sport seriously.
